SAFELIST BASICS PART II

Most of us market with safelist the wrong way. You write ads, post them to the sasfelists and hope for the best best.

Trying to sell products with safelists should be secondary, especially for those of us that do not have an opt-in list.

You should be using the safelists to build our opt-in list and then send the offers to the list.

You may have read many times that "the money's in the list". And this is true, and it is definitely NOT in the safelist.

You must employ a "two-step" process, using safelists to get LEADS onto your own list. Save your recommendations until AFTER you have built a relationship of trust and rapport with your contacts, by offering them valuable information, either via a report, course or newsletter.

Here is a simple way to Build your own Opt-in List using safelists. First join as many Free Safelists that you can join.

Start sending e-mails with offers on any of your programs. Then point all inquiries and offers to your autoresponder address.

Next pre-load your autoresponder with the requested information plus 5 to 10 additional messages about this offer.

When the potential customer responds to your offer via your autoresponder address, the autoresponder collects the email addresses of the potential customer and sends out the requested information. Also, each day or a set intervals, the recepient receives your prewritten email about your offer.

Following up with each lead individually, multiple times at set intervals with pre-written messages will dramatically

increase sales more so than sending you ads to safelists.

More importantly, you are building your opt-in list. Once this list is built to about 1000 opt-in potential customer;

and you have built a relationship with your list, then you can make your offers and start seeing sales.

So, should you stop using safelist to send ads. Of course not! However, don't concentrate on selling products with safelists. Use safelists to build your opt-in list and then send your offers to the list.
