Why is the available 9/11 information so controversial, 8 years later?

The 9/11 tragedy was undeniably of massive proportions, killing thousands of innocent people in a matter of minutes. Like the Pearl Harbor attack of December 7, 1941, the 9/11 catastrophe will also ‘live in infamy’. Now, more than 8 years later, we know little more on 9/11 information and facts than we did that day. Although a panel was convened to investigate, there are many questions which yet remain unanswered.

One glaring discrepancy in available 9/11 information was uncovered by investigative journalists, who found that 11 of the original 19 hijackers are still alive and well in their home countries. It’s only common sense that, had they been on any of the aircraft, they could not have survived.

Several architects of note have come forward to declare that the damage from the aircrafts hitting the Twin Towers could not possibly have caused the buildings to collapse in the manner and at the speed they fell. Numerous videos demonstrate that when the buildings collapsed, the elapsed time was just over 10 seconds. The architects concluded that, given the structural engineering of the Twin Towers, the collapse was due to implosion, accomplished just as a planned demolition would be done. In the official 9/11 Commission Report, this curious bit of 9/11 information was not even mentioned.

Another, little-known bit of 9/11 information is staggering in its disingenuity. A newscaster on one of the major networks reported on the collapse of Building 7 a full 20 minutes before the event! Moreover, the building wasn’t hit by an aircraft or anything else. Why did that building collapse and why did the news report precede the event by 20 minutes?

Here’s yet another nonsensical bit of 9/11 information: There are no videos available of the aircraft hitting the Pentagon. This is astonishing when you consider the amount of security surveillance equipment one would expect to surround this building. Investigative journalists, working with aircraft experts, created CAD mockups to show that the wings of that aircraft would have left a far larger hole than what we were shown. The wings did not break off, or they would be on the lawn in front of the building. This bit of supposed 9/11 information has led many to speculate that the destruction was caused by a missile. This theory is supported by the fact that it would be next to impossible for the most expert of pilots to maneuver the aircraft to hit and penetrate the Pentagon, on the ground floor.

On 9/11/2001, Willie Brown was Mayor of San Francisco. A couple of days before the events of 9/11, Mr. Brown’s personal bodyguard received a tip, which he passed on to the Mayor: do not travel on Monday, September 11. Mayor Brown was told that ‘something big’ was coming down on that day and that the Mayor should not travel anywhere by plane. If this 9/11 information was available to Mayor Brown’s bodyguard, it only makes sense that, surely others had similar information.

Both the Pentagon and Pennsylvania crash sites were cleaned up by the FBI in no time, without conducting the usual forensic inspections and careful and tedious sorting of each piece of debris, as is typically the case with any air crash site. Why?

On 9/11, every aircraft in U.S. air space were ordered to stand down - with one exception. A small private jet, carrying seven members of the Bin Laden family, was allowed to leave the U.S., to return unhindered to Saudi Arabia. These family members were not even interviewed by the FBI prior to the Bin Laden’s departure.

This article barely scratches the surface of the controversy which surrounds the events of 9/11. Nonetheless, it’s obvious that the available 9/11 information is not complete. Too many facts have been shoved under the carpet, not open to public discussion or inspection. The official 9/11 Commission Report does not adequately address any of these mysterious discrepancies. The logical conclusion is that someone has something to hide. It’s unlikely that any of us will ever know the truth of this tragedy.
