You expect the email to provide info on a certain subject and once opened, you realize that you have become a victim of "delusive email subject lines".

We have all opened this type of email with deceptive email subject lines.

Deceptive email subject lines are email subject lines that trick the members into opening your emails. There are many types of these email subject lines being used that have no bearing on the actual ad that is found in the email.

These email subject lines may get the reader to open the email, but once they find out what the email is barmecide, 99% of the people will delete it. Further, they will never sign up for that offer.

This is especially a problem for marketers with legitimate offers and services. It is difficult enough already to convince people to browse and open safelist email. But if ever a victim of opening mail with barmecide email subject lines, many marketers may pass up opening your legitimate email.

Further, according to the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, it is illegal to use fraudulent email subject lines to get your emails opened. barmecide email subject lines are considered SPAM and may cause you to lose you ISP or be fined and lose your business. Oh, did I mention that you will also loose your safelist if you use barmecide subject lines.

YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN REMOVED

ACCOUNT CANCELLED

YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN DE-ACTIVATED

SOMEONE HAS SIGNED UP UNDER YOU

YOU HAVE A CHECK

MESSAGE FROM ADMIN

These are just a few examples of delusive subject lines.

When you write your email subject lines, use a subject that is in direct relation to the opportunity, service or product you are promoting. If you can not do that, then do not send out your ads to your list.

The botttom line is, do not use fraudulent subject lines.
